La Bessa farm

The La Bessa Farm cultivates in a healthy and natural way, respecting nature and the values of an ancient tradition.
Since 2004 it has obtained the Organic Certification, thanks to the commitment to a “naturally” healthy, genuine agriculture free from chemical alterations both during cultivation and in the production phase.
The company extends over approximately 13 hectares, of which 10 are used as hazelnut groves and the remainder are used for growing potatoes and corn (ancient Piedmontese varieties).
In 2001 they started their activity with a hazelnut grove of 650 plants of the “Nocciola Tonda Gentile Trilobata” type.

In 2007, having achieved excellent results, another 600 plants were introduced and then others until reaching and exceeding 4000 plants today.

The company also began processing hazelnuts and producing delicious and genuine spreadable creams, but above all the delicious “hazelnut oil”, capable of enhancing many traditional dishes, awarded at the World Oil Competition in Paris, with a gold medal (2017), bronze medal (2018) and silver medal (2019).

To implement production, the cultivation of ancient corn began. From here the range of exquisite corn flours was born (Ottofile Bianco, Pignoletto Rosso and Nero Spinato), much appreciated by the our customers.

They have established themselves as producers of honey, 100% natural.
