Centovigne farm
In Castellengo the Castle has hosted since 1682 – year of the document found with the list of how many presses, how many barrels and how many vats were inside the cellars- the production of fine wines that are born in the surrounding vineyards on ancient lands of glacial marine origin, where mainly Nebbiolo and Erbaluce have always been grown.
The vineyards are the recovery of a historic property, today called Centovigne, because it is made up of small vineyards distributed on the hills between the Castellengo Castle and Mottalciata, in Upper Piedmont.
In the eighteenth-century cellars, the use of concrete tanks and large oak barrels refines the wines, respecting a combination of technology and history.
Guided tours of the historic wine cellars of the Castle with tasting of wines and typical local products are organized upon reservation.
Inside the castle village it is possible to stay overnight in the charming B&B La Carosera
