The Sordevolo Trappa
The Trappa is a former monastery of Trappist monks fleeing from revolutionary France at the end of the 18th century.
It is located at 1000 m. a. s. l. in the upper Elvo valley, between the Mucrone and Mombarone mountains, along the panoramic road that connects the three main Biella sanctuaries.
Open every day from April to October upon reservation, the Trappa offers refreshment, accommodation and stabling services for excursionists on foot, on horseback and on mountain bikes: it is ideal for day-long or residential educational and training activities.
The restaurant is part of the Slow Food Travel Montagne Biellesi project and offers essential cuisine based on ingredients from local producers.
The guesthouse has 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, for a total of 24 beds (one bedroom and one bathroom are designed for people with reduced mobility)
The stable has a capacity of 10 horses.
