Hunt for the stars with Fabio Peri
Every night, looking up at the sky, we can admire the show offered by the stars. Unfortunately, those who live in the city have little chance to experience it due to light pollution. All the city lights prevent us from seeing the thousands of glowing dots that populate and illuminate our sky.
Since ancient times, the human being has tried to describe and trace the stars even through drawings, inspiration for poets, artists and writers. Lots of mythological tales about monsters, gods, heroes, kings and queens, animals, common and imaginary objects have born from the many constellations in the mist of time!
The meeting is for Saturday 10th August at 9 p.m. at the Palasport in Bielmonte, where the scientific director of the Planetarium of Milan will present the August night sky. At the end of the conference and until midnight, there will be the possibility to admire the stars more closely thanks to 5 telescopes.
